Synopsis
Articulation [ More ] Clubs and Organizations [ More ]
At the Mt. Pleasant Area Technical Center students have the opportunity to earn college credit while in high-school. This process is known as articulation. Links, description and competition results for BPA, DELTA, FFA, HOSA, KENDALL, MITES, NTHS and SKILLS USA/VICA.
 
Placement [ More ] Counseling [ More ]
Our Placement Services staff works with students to assist them with technical work experience and cooperative educational experiences. Career, academic and personal counseling is available to Mt. Pleasant Area Technical Center students.
 
Career Information Center [ More ] Certifications [ More ]
Our goal is to find the right job or career for students and what they need to get that job or career through research, testing, and guide books. A list of all certifications by available program.
 
CENA / CNA [ More ] Co-Op [ More ]
The Mt. Pleasant Area Technical Center is a State Nursing Assistant Competency testing site. The MPATC administers the State Certification test that is issued through Thomson Prometric. The Co-op program is designed for juniors and seniors enrolled in one of the MPATC programs. This is an opportunity for students to practice classroom skills in a paid, part-time job.
 
Special Populations [ More ] Unpaid Training & Job Shadowing [ More ]
Special Populations services provide additional support to those students who may need assistance.  Students with academic concerns are able to receive help from our basic skills advocate through individual tutoring. The Internship and Job Shadowing programs allow students to gain practical, hands-on experience at a job site.
   
Nontraditional Programs [ More ]  
Nontraditional programs have been identified by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the United States Office of Vocational and Adult Education based on hiring practices of business and industry.
